About Me
Cedric Strickland is an Entrepreneur, Author, and Product Lead based in Seattle, Washington.
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Cedric went on to study Computer Science at the University of Notre Dame's School of Engineering.
Over the 12 years since leaving Notre Dame, Cedric has become a seasoned Product leader, driving strategy and leading teams of all sizes at both Microsoft and Google.
Outside of big tech, Cedric's achievements including become a professor at the University of Washington Computing & Software Systems (CSS) graduate program, founding multiple companies, and has most recently become a published author.
In his personal time, Cedric enjoys mentoring, traveling, and passion projects.

For over 12 years, Cedric has had the opportunity to deliver innovative solutions for billions around the globe, as a part of thriving Product & Engineering communities at companies like Microsoft and Google!
At Microsoft, Cedric worked primarily on Windows, driving the release of Windows 10 RTM, delivering the first AI/ML powered OS release, and managing teams of Product Managers and Technical Program Managers. Cedric's impact extends beyond Windows, having a hand in Xbox/PC Game Pass, Windows Mixed Reality, and Microsoft Teams.
At Google, Cedric drives Gmail product strategy, informing consumer and enterprise solutions for the Gmail service and mobile clients. Cedric scales impact across the Google Workspace suites, navigating regulatory worksteams for Google Chat and Google Groups, and strategic investments that bring cohesion to the Workspace suite.
